About Justyna
I am photographer from Poland, based between Warsaw and Tbilisi, Georgia. My works have been published internationally by the Wall Street Journal, National Geographic, Newsweek, Le Monde, Stern, The New York Times- among others. They won numerous awards: World Press Photo, Canon Female Photojournalist Prize, Caucasus Young Photographer Award by Magnum Foundation, Aftermath Project Grant and Eugene Smith Fund in 2016. Most important part of my work is devoted to personal, long term projects published as books. I teach photography workshops in person and on-line, both for groups and individuals. I am available for lectures on the topic I specialize in: different aspects of transformations and current geo-political dynamics in countries of Central Europe in particular Poland , Caucasus and Ukraine. I speak Polish , English , Ukrainian and Russian .
